The MANifesto services:

Men can’t solve these problems on their own, and they shouldn’t have to. Men need a haven to grow, discover, detox from digital devices, demands, and numbing tools, and safely re-connect. We need to take individual responsibility to help men connect. If I don’t do it, who is going to do it?

The individual man:

We do individual and group coaching and counselling with men. We know that men would rather seek help in their workplace, to resolve work pressures and relational issues at work, than in their personal lifes. With my strong business background, and being a registered counsellor and coach, I provide business coaching and problem solving, while working on the key skills to focus your individual life.

I have a specific programme for identifying your goals and your challenges, explaining all the biological, neurological, societal and other challenges with numbing. It’s not a traditional narrative therapy approach – it is more a structured knowledge-based approach with key outcomes. I have found that if you give men tools, steps and actions, they implement and process the information in a tangible manner – men don’t talk it through; they walk and do it through. My work is geared for that on an individual level, focused on skills building and giving you the tools to do healthy emotional regulation, suitable for you as a man.

Men in their workplace:

Comprehensive statistics comparing the prevalence of women’s empowerment programs to those specifically designed for men within businesses are limited. However, existing data indicates a significant emphasis on women’s empowerment initiatives, with comparatively fewer programs tailored for men. This is the shift we need to make: It is not women or men; it is both

Many businesses have implemented policies to support gender equality, such as setting targets for female representation in leadership roles. For instance, Ernst & Young’s Sydney branch aims for women to fill 50% of all graduate roles and 40% of partner roles by 2027.

While there is growing recognition of the need to engage men in gender equality efforts, programs specifically dedicated to men’s empowerment are less prevalent.

Men often face barriers to engaging with support services, including societal expectations and reluctance to seek help, which can hinder the development and uptake of men’s empowerment programs.

While numerous programs and initiatives focus on women’s empowerment in the business sector, there is a noticeable gap in equivalent programs for men. Addressing this disparity is crucial for fostering an inclusive environment that supports all employees, regardless of gender.

The MANifesto has a programme to empower men in the workplace.

Men in society:

The aim is to change the societal narrative about men. The MANifesto collaborates with organisations that already work with men, and want to give a voice to the issues men face. We have more questions than answers. We want to facilitate a dialogue about these topics, deepening understanding and building collaborative solutions.

For this, we host:

  • Webinars
  • Seminars
  • Talks (specifically in small towns that has little access to support services)
  • Men’s Challenge Camps – allowing men to detox from demands, digital spaces and decision making, to reconnect
  • Online programmes
  • Workshops
  • Research focus groups and interviews
  • Podcasts
We collaborate with any organization that has existing access to groups of men, that would like to participate in building more knowledge, sharing ideas and support men constructively.
Why should you be here?

As a man, you’re feeling the strain. The pressures from every direction — your relationships, work, finances — are weighing you down. You’re expected to keep it all together, to be strong, to show no weakness, but inside, you’re struggling with anxiety, stress, and self-doubt. Accusations of toxic masculinity make it even harder to open up – the patriarchy at work, the evil men in society – the negative narratives are all around you. You don’t want to be part of the problem, but you don’t know how to find solutions. You need a space where you can explore these feelings without judgment, where you can understand yourself better, and where you can find a path to healthier relationships, work-life balance, and a stronger sense of self.

You need guidance and direction from someone who truly gets what you’re going through, who can offer real support without preconceived ideas or criticism.
